I have known Rafael Salgado, “Rafa,” personally for more than 20 years, as his father Jorge and I have been friends for over 50 years. I have always been impressed by Rafa’s energy and enthusiasm, but had never seen it applied through his work.
Returning to my home in Salvaje after an extensive absence, combined with the lack of a full-time caretaker for over six months, the garden and water features were in need of attention and repairs. I was quite concerned, given the options I was aware of at the time.
Fortunately, Rafa informed me that he wanted to start a home and garden maintenance business in Salvaje. Knowing that he had a business in Jacksonville, Florida, maintaining large apartment complexes, I was hopeful that this would solve my future maintenance needs.
After a few weeks, I can only say that I could not be happier with this arrangement.
Rafa has been extremely communicative, responding immediately via WhatsApp. He is completely transparent: I receive a spreadsheet with any and all supplemental expenses and completed tasks. Scheduled future tasks are provided in a calendar format, which allows me to comment on or prioritize tasks according to my preferences.
Rafa is not only efficient in his execution of tasks, but has also demonstrated tenacity. This attitude gives me peace of mind, knowing that no matter how challenging a situation is, it will be taken care of.
He offers me the luxury of carefree ownership of a home 1,200 miles from where I reside, at a reasonable price. I can sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend Rafa if you are in need of any aspect of property maintenance wherever he offers his services.
